Terry Martin-Back

Terry Martin-Back grew up on a farm in Northern Indiana. He entered the U.S. Army in 1971 and was assigned to the Army Reserve. Terry re-entered the Army on a full time basis in 1980 to continue his military career. Terry quickly gained rank and took on additional responsibilities and attended numerous military schools and attended college during after hours.

Terry is a married father of two. He volunteered within local communities wherever he was stationed, including within the Republic of Korea. In 1991 Terry was deployed with the First Infantry Division for combat operations in "Operation Desert Storm" where his Cavalry Unit received a Presidential Unit Citation for Actions in Combat. Upon returning to Fort Riley Kansas after combat, Terry and his wife started investing in real estate. Upon his departure from the Army he continued investing in real estate to the point where they are now owners of the Exit Realty Producers franchise in Gainesville and the MartinBack Group Inc. Construction Company. Terry and his family have been in business in Gainesville Florida since 1996.

Terry is a State Certified, Licensed General Contractor CGC1506936 and Licensed Real Estate Broker BK703294. He was also appointed to the Alachua County Veterans Advisory Board and the Alachua County Codes Enforcement Board by the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners. Terry is also a member of the Korean War Veterans Association and the American Legion. Terry was a candidate for Florida’s U.S. House of Representatives, 3rd Congressional District as an Independent Candidate during the 2010 election. He is an active member of the community, attends county meetings and often speaks out at the local County Commission meetings and is often published in the local Newspaper, ("Gainesville Sun"), with his opinions and editorials.

Terry Martin-Back will use his extensive skills and experience as CP-FL's new Executive Director.
