Robert Meyer

Robert Meyer is the National Managing Editor of the Conservative Party USA.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Since he grew up in the city of America's first professional baseball team, he developed a passion for the game. He had the privilege of playing centerfield for the former major league player Herman (Flea) Clifton. This is where he learned about the importance of fundamentals and applying them through self-discipline. It worked because his team won the Class B Knothole National Championship.

Robert has always possessed a love for reading. Two of his early influences were the "Perry Mason" series by Erle Stanley Gardner and the "Sherlock Holmes Treasury" by Arthur Conan Doyle. He learned the importance of deductive reasoning from these authors.

In 1978 he discovered Conservative philosophy. He read every book and newsletter he could get his hands on. His excitement increased when he studied the free market economics of great economists such as Ludwig von Mises, Murray Rothbard, FA Hayek and Henry Hazlitt. He now understood why the economic classes he took in college didn't make any sense.

Another important influence during that time was Ayn Rand. Her book "Atlas Shrugged" introduced him to Objectivism. He especially benefited from her support of logic, reason and unhampered capitalism.

Since Robert never stops learning he made a commitment to a life-long study of human action. This is what Napoleon Hill did when he investigated success principles for over 30 years. These activities carried him into many exciting areas of discovery.

After he moved to Texas in 1985, he became interested in psychology and studied great masters such as Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, Abraham Maslow, Viktor Frankl and others.

The teachings of Carl Jung resulted in him becoming excited about metaphysics. However, his metaphysical explorations took off when he discovered Jonathan Parker's "Mind Power Series" and subsequently his "Pathways to Mastership" course. That started his daily practice of meditation. Many of Robert's discoveries occurred during the times he accessed his intuitive powers. These included capturing an abundance of writing ideas.

In 1993 his spirituality took off when he read the King James Bible from start to finish. In addition, he listened to Alexander Scourby's narration of it.

Since 2007 he has created several blogs, written hundreds of articles and self-published 10 books. He has been featured on the daily ezine "Laissez Faire Today" five times and in several other publications.

In addition, he is a Freelance Copywriter and Marketer.

He also loves music. His tastes run from Classical to the Big Band Era of the 30's and 40's, Old Standards, Golden Oldies and Classic Rock.

Robert has been married several times. His first wife died in 2010. He currently dates a Conservative lady named Marcia. They both live in Garland, Texas.
